Emma Butterfield ’26 - Alternative Breaks
Emma is a senior majoring in Environmental Studies and Hispanic Studies, usually she can be found in the Baldwin Center, but she is also hoping to amp out in the newly renovated Sills this year. Feel free to chat about non-profits, best places to visit in Maine, or what the best ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ dessert is. She is also happy to talk about other McKeen Center programs and how to get involved.
Larah Gutierrez-Camano ’26 - Alternative Breaks
Larah is a senior majoring in Biochemistry and English. You can find her in Roux by a window because she loves the sun! You can chat with her about all things medicine, science, and community health. She is also happy to talk about her experience in other McKeen Center programs, having led an ASB to NY and having been a Denning Fellow. |
Lex Renkert ’27 - America Reads and Counts
Lex is a junior majoring in Biology and Environmental Studies. On warmer days, you can find them on the quad in their hammock. You can chat with them about rugby, or other activities on campus. Their office hours at the McKeen Center are on Friday afternoons. |
Chloë Sheahan ’26 - ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Public Service
Chloë is a senior majoring in Environmental Studies and Government & Legal Studies and minoring in German. You can find her hanging out in Roux or HL Basement. You can chat with her about public service, offshore wind, German public transportation, rugby, or anything else! She is also happy to chat about other Mckeen Center or Environmental Studies programs as she has participated in the Denning Summer Fellowship, SCAN, WBCEP, and the Environmental Studies Maine-Based Fellowship. |

Ruby is a senior majoring in History and Government & Legal Studies. You can probably find her hanging out in Adams' common room. She is happy to talk about her experience with BPS, and why the VAC is the best place to study on campus. |

Margaret is a junior majoring in Government & Legal Studies and Psychology with an Education minor. You can find her on the third floor of Smith Union or at the ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Orient house. Nassiratou Ali Djibo '28 - Common Good Grant
Nassira is a sophomore and a prospective Government and Mathematics major. You can usually find her in Smith Union or in the Music Library. She’s always happy to chat about God (Christian faith), community impact, youth and girl empowerment, advocacy related to girls and women in philanthropic spaces, and ideas for the future. Charlotte Tagupa '26 - Common Good Grant
Charlotte is a senior majoring in Environmental Studies and Government. She spent her first two years at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ on the Common Good Grant, an experience that sparked her interest in philanthropy and led to summer work with nonprofit development teams and in federal grant management. Beyond her interest for fundraising and grantmaking, Charlotte enjoys talking about food co-ops, long-distance running, humorous memoirs, and anything she recently heard on NPR. |
Pranav Vadlamudi ’26- Common Good Grant
Pranav is a junior majoring in Philosophy and Neuroscience. You can find him hanging out on the quad, especially during the beautiful fall weather. You can chat with him about the Common Good Grant program, how to work with nonprofits abroad through the McKeen center, football and basketball (Pats and Celtics!), and any philosophical musings you have. His office hours at the McKeen Center are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Belen is a sophomore planning on majoring in Neuroscience and Government & Legal Studies. You can find her hanging out on the couch behind the Café in Smith. Sophia Poeschla '26 - Communications and Special Projects
Hi! My name is Sophia and I am a senior majoring in Government & Legal Studies. In my time at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ, I have loved engaging with the McKeen Center through orientation trips, summer fellowships, and ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ Public Service. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, playing soccer, skiing, and exploring Maine! One of my favorite spots near campus is Giant Stairs—watching the sunrise or sunset is beautiful! |
Anna Tran '26 - Equity and Inclusion
Anna is a senior majoring in Biochemistry and Anthropology with a minor in Asian Studies. You can find her hanging out on the quad when it’s beautiful and warm or in the Shannon Room in Hubbard. Moana Gregori '26 - What Matters Dialogues
Moana is a senior majoring in Anthropology and Economics. During Maine's colder days, you can find her around the BOC fire, and once the sun is out - spot her on the quad! You can chat with her about all the things that made you smile this week or the craziest thought you had, project ideation/entrepreneurship, and everything around facilitating dialog across difference. Zak Asplin '27 - What Matters Dialogues
Zak is a Junior majoring in Government and Economics. His favorite spot on campus, and where he can be found is Massachusetts or Hubbard Hall. You can chat with him about politics, hiking and anything outdoors, theory, dialogue, and Building Bridges at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ. His office hours at the McKeen Center are Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.00-5.00pm. |
Sam Borne ’26 - What Matters Dialogues
Sam is a senior majoring in Goverment and Economics. You can often find him reading, or napping on the quad, or in Hubbard hall when the weather gets cooler. Feel free to chat about What Matters, anything McKeen Center related, politics, history, the book your reading, or last movie you watched, or even anything philosophy related for the minor he thinks he can probably complete, he's always ready for an interesting conversation about anything. In his free time, he likes to swim, hike, and watch the Patriots hopefully have a better season than last. |
